Born a shopkeeper’s son, entrepreneurial spirit and working from a young age is no stranger to me. I spent a lot of time at my parents’ greengrocers. This is where I learned the basic corporate principles.

I gained my first serious and most special work experience in India. There, I worked in a team that was expected to make the Maharaju Palace, a hotel in Kovalam, operational within three months. My personal responsibility was educating an Indian manager. This while I was yet to start my Business Administration Economics study at the VU University in Amsterdam!

 

After graduating in 2004, I started working at PBA Personal Banking and GE Artesia Bank. There, I started as a commercial staff member and within the organization I moved on the several other positions. My last position at GE Artesia Bank was Product Manager Mortgage and other loans. I also focus on funding issues for entrepreneurs and I maintain contacts between banks and entrepreneurs.

 

In 2007 I started Probanco – along with four others – to work as an independent consultant and interim manager and I do this with great pleasure. Over the past few years, I carried out several challenging projects, mainly in the field of mortgages and securities in various financial institutions.
