Since March 2010 I am employed at  CARE Investment Services. CARE Investment Services is focused on asset management.

At this moment I am a student at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). At the UvA, I aim to obtain the Master degree in Econometrics, I am currently completing this study.  After having completed my study Econometrics, I am planning to study Stochastics and Financial Mathematics .

An econometrician is mainly concerned with quantitative analysis of time series and large data sets. Asset management is an economic action which is excellent for quantitative analysis.

Before I started to CARE Investment Services, I have worked for Towers Watson since November 2005. Towers Watson is a consulting company specializing in pensions. During my employment with Watson Towers, I was involved in pension actuary for two years and the remaining two years I dealt with the investment side of retirement.

By working for an asset management company now, I can apply my expertise and knowledge and  extend my view on the financial world.
