The initiator of Probanco

My career in the financial sector started at the ABN AMRO Bank. After four years, I transferred to Van Lanschot Bankiers. Here, I had several management positions.

In 1997, I became a founding member of the PBA Mortgage and Securities institute and as a director and shareholder I was responsible for the strategic management chairman of the investment committee. In 2004, after seven successful years, I sold my interest to Dexia Bank Belgium NV. My ambition was to use my expertise as widely as possible in the financial sector, and to work as a consultant/interim-manager seemed the most appropriate way to do this. 
 
In 2005, we started Probanco with a number of talented partners. Thanks to a speedy growth, more partners joined the firm throughout the past few years.

For Probanco, we carried out and supervised a large number of major projects with a very diverse character. To give an example, we work in the field of take-overs, mergers, refinancing, reorganization, implementation of new business cases, funding and mortgages. We have also successfully concluded several projects of a strategic nature.
